3 Easy No-Bake Holiday Pie Recipes

Updated on October 31, 2010

One of the best parts about November and December is all of the great holiday desserts, especially homemade pies. There is something really special about making and enjoying holiday pie recipes. Making pies was always a holiday tradition in my house. Here are some delicious and easy no-bake holiday pie recipes that you might want to incorporate into your own holiday meals and parties.

3 Simple No Bake Pie Recipes

Pineapple Refrigerator Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 store-bought graham cracker pie crusts (9 inch size)
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 ounces)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice

Instructions:

Drain the pineapple very well. Mix all ingredients together (except for the pie crusts). Stir until well combined. Pour mixture into the crusts and cover. Refrigerate for at least hours before serving.

Serving Suggestion: Garnish with pineapple chunks and/or additional nuts, if desired.

Super Chocolate Pudding Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 store-bought graham cracker pie crust (9 inch size)
  • 2 packages chocolate pudding mix (the size that makes 4 servings; do not use instant pudding)
  • 3 1/2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions:

Place a medium saucepan on the stove over a medium heat. Place pudding mix, milk, butter, and chocolate chips in the saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly over a medium heat until the mixture comes to a complete boil. Remove the mixture from the heat, and allow to cool for ten minutes. Stir a few times while cooling to keep a film from forming on the top. Pour mixture into the graham cracker crust and cover. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Serving Suggestion: Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and a few chocolate chips.

No-Bake Cherry Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 store-bought graham cracker pie crust (9 inch size)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 1/3 cup of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of real vanilla extract
  • 1 8 ounce package of softened cream cheese (do not use fat free)
  • 1 can of cherry pie filling (15 ounces)

Instructions:

Place the cream cheese in a medium bowl and beat with an electric mixer until it becomes light and fluffy. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the bowl with the cream cheese and thoroughly combine. Mix in the lemon juice and the vanilla extract. When everything is blended well, pour the mixture into the pie crust and cover. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set. Once the pie is set, top cover with the cherry pie filling, and your homemade no-bake cherry cheesecake is ready to serve.

Variation: Use blueberry pie pilling instead of cherry!
