There’s no reason that Christmas Eve or Christmas Day have to be the only family-oriented meal events during the holidays. Consider starting a meal tradition for your family members to enjoy during the event of decorating the house for the holidays.

Consider making a few favorite finger foods, a big pot of hearty beef stew, and some hot spiced tea or wassail for your family members to enjoy together while decking the halls. Or, if you’re looking for something that doesn’t require any work on your part, order takeout pizza. What you eat doesn’t matter; the idea is to start a tradition that your family can look forward to from year to year.
